General information
– By making a booking with Vai Vai Visby you agree to our full terms and conditions described below.
– You as a customer are required to return the bicycle and/or other equipment in the same condition as it was delivered. Any damage to the bicycle and/or other equipment will be fully compensated by the renter. Vai Vai takes no responsibility for any personal injury or damage to clothing that may occur during the rental period.
– For exceeded rental time, the renter will be charged according to the current price list and an additional late fee of SEK 200. Please note that the rental contract only applies to the agreed time and thus the renter's insurance conditions in the event of any theft/damage during the exceeded time may be affected.
Bicycle handling
– Never leave your bike unattended and keep it safely and properly locked. Use the bike as if it were your own, do not expose it to unreasonable handling or risks. We take pride in providing serviced bikes in good condition. Should you experience any problems, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can troubleshoot and remedy any problems that are not the result of an accident or improper use as quickly as possible.
– The bicycle must not be ridden in sand on the beach or in sea water.
– Please note that the bicycle may not leave Gotland without prior written agreement with a representative from Vai Vai. The bicycle may not be lent, transferred, rented or sold by the lessee.
– Rentals are made by agreement per half day or full day/days.
– Refunds are not allowed due to changing weather conditions.
– The bicycle must be ridden in a legal and careful manner and all cycling is at the renter's own risk.
Insurance / Liability / Theft / Negligence
– By signing the contract, you accept full responsibility for all rental products listed on the contract including but not limited to bicycles and various accessories, as well as products not mentioned in the contract but provided in good faith (accessories, repair kits, bicycle pumps, etc.).
– Full liability means that you are required to pay Vai Vai AB the full value of the bicycle and/or other equipment if it is stolen, lost or suffers unreasonable damage (which cannot be considered as reasonable wear and tear) during the rental period. The compensation amount does not include any amount already paid for the rental. Vai Vai AB reserves the right to determine the value of all lost/stolen/broken items.
– We encourage the renter to review their insurance coverage and possibly take out additional travel insurance that covers theft of and damage to the bicycle. Please check with any credit card company if this is already included in the coverage.
Booking, cancellation & payment
– We accept the same payments as in our webshop – i.e. Klarna. All payment terms are available here.
– If cancelled 7 days before the first rental day, the full amount will be refunded. If cancelled 2-5 days before the first rental day, 50% of the amount will be refunded. If cancelled later than 48 hours before the first rental day, no money will be refunded.
